Delightful Weekends :)

Super long entry with alot of pictures! :)

Last Saturday (and all the future Saturdays for the next 3 months), I had lectures...T_T

We totally had no mood to concentrate!!! FTL in her holiday mood and me in my pre-concert mood...hehe

I brought the favourite white chocolate biscuits (found only in Japan) for my lecture mates...well, only my FTL babe camwhoring with me because its her favourite too!

Started alot of funny funny poses...Muhahaha

She is bored and I won't let her leave! Because I always disturb and irritate her during lectures...and if she leaves I'll have no one to irritate....*evil smiles*

To think I even sang some awful Chinese New Year songs during lectures break just to irritate her! She nearly slapped me....which I think she will if I continue on...hohoho :p:P:p

Cam-whoring officially starts!!!!

We were trying hard to imitate somebody....There's still room for improvment....muhahaha

Met up with KAF right after my lectures for the Jay Chou concert! Went to have dinner at the new Kallang Leisure Park and there was nothing much there to eat as its so new that there are not much eateries around...ended up we ate this Wang cafe lotus rice which is not nice to eat at all!!! We regretted after we saw other people eating the mee siam & mee rebus...T_T

Anyway KAF the lucky girl got to see the concert free with me after much big wind big rain (which I will not elaborate here)...I have never been to concert with my best friends and she's the first and ironically its her first time ever in live concert....all in all she's a very good companion concert go-er...keke...hope to go with you again KAF!!! :D

We entered the stadium at 7.30pm...the concert was supposed to start at 8.00pm but as you know...most people are late and thus it cannot be started on time....and so whipped out my camera and started cam-whoring while waiting!!! hehe

The one and only picture (and its blur due to my shaky hands) which I took...why one? Because I really think that its not necessary when he is just right in front of us...and I never take pictures or videos at concerts...plus with shaky hands...no point...-_-

Met up with MNW babe right after the concert for some frog porridge action at Geylang...:)

An attempt to imitate one song and I think MNW did well and of course I failed miserably...

And I really appreciate my Baobei Dearest who waited for us for 3 long boring hours outside the stadium just to send all of us safely home...though he is abit grouchy with the long wait but he still insisted to drive us for the late night supper...Thank you wo de Baobei Baobei! Lup u!! ^-^

The next day, we went steamboat-ing at Mag's new house...

Home made charcoal boiled chicken soup! Yummmmmyyyyy!

Didn't had enough time after the housewarming thus postponed the Chinatown to last weekend.

Bought a whole lot of Mickey Mouse related decorations to decorate our houses...wee~

As usual, the place is crowded with people! And once again, gonna thank my Dearest who doesn't like crowds to go through all those people mountain people sea with me....:D

We were both very tired but we enjoyed picking and choosing the decorations! I am still contemplating whether to buy the pink Qipao top....hmmmm....shall consider seriously....hehe

Outside the very strict temple which don't allow you in with bare shoulders and short skirts...so you know what you should wear if you plan to go in for a look....

Actually I was supposed to blog about the baking of pineapple tarts at Mag's house BUT we all forgot to take pictures....:( Though the look of it may not look nice but it still tastes nice ok....wahahaha Never mind....going to try harder for the pork floss spring roll this coming Wednesday...hopefully I am able to take some pictures to prove that I really did bake ok though I may be a bit slow....:p

Alright I'll have to end abruptly for this rather long entry now...more to come...I promise before I'm stuck with my project deadlines!

Weekend

Is almost here!!!! :D

Very looking forward to the concert, steamboat at Mag's house and Chinatown!!!!

Just read FTL's blog, and I agree with her that its really not that easy for 2 to become a couple...its already so hard for 2 people to meet and fall in love and so on and so forth...

Thus must really treasure and appreciate one another....and not take each other for granted and don't quarrel so much...as quoted from Dearest.

School starting today...*sobs* Must study hard..I want to throw my hat in the sky! (Not forgetting that Precious Moment figurine that I have been longing and studio pictures with my Dearest and family!!!) Let's work hard together SIM pals!! Aim distinction for all modules!!!!! :D

Miss my FTL shopping buddy!!! Remember your promise....sprees after you are back from Bangkok hor...don't fly me aeroplane again...:x

FTL is gonna get goodies for me...hehe *happy*

I'm still in shopping mood...how to resist that when I'm working in town?

Sick

Over the weekend...:(

Such a torture! Been drinking and eating soupy stuff these 2 days...and finally today I'm feeling better now...but still..throat's a little sore and I want to eat better stuff when I am well!!! *sulks*

Anyway, had our SIM pals gathering last Thursday and finally we exchanged the very belated Christmas pressies....

FTL suggested this western food kopitiam at Lavender...so off we went...

Number 17..which is our queue number and I forced FTL to use as prop while waiting for food...hehe:p

Everyone else is busy with their stuff...Dai Jie on the mobile...

Ping Ping busy writing our names on pieces of paper to draw lots for our pressies...

And lastly..I am very thirsty...so drank 2 glasses of Barley...

Finally the food that FTL promised for and we have waited for like a decade or so....(I am so hungry after looking at these!!!)

Verdict: They both drew each other...

As she is forever rushing back, she's the 1st to open up her present...and she got...a cushion from Pingping...just nice for her new office in February...

The rest of us opted for a more cosy ambience for the gift exchange and thus we went Bugis and the last cafe that is open...

Dai Jie's very cooling tea, with brown rice and red dates....

Pingping got a small precious moment drawer from FTL...

And of course we drew each other...

She got a very pink pencil case/holder from me...

And I got this body shop package from her...according to her..I can put the mandarin oranges in the red bag for CNY purposes...smart! (notice how FTL & my gifts are pink in colour and Dai Jie & Ping ping gifts are so red!)

Then we chatted about Dai Jie's dating experience....damn funny lor...hahaha...shall not reveal here...:p

Went to this resort style condo at Orchard on Saturday....so took some pictures there...

Well, well back to rest now or I can't eat anything proper....till then...:)

Happy New 2008!!!

Its a brand new year! :)

I have a lot of resolutions:

1) to resist temptations as I'm having a lot of nasty comments that I am getting fatter!

2) exercise every week

3) to get good grades this semester and graduate!

4) to look for a permanent job once I graduate

5) less quarrels with you-know-who

and more....lazy to list out all but this is the major 5...:p

Pictures time.....took a hell lot of photos and finally I got some spare time to upload...

My 1st Christmas 2007 pressie....Sony T70!!!!!!!! Apparently my trusty Canon camera had been throwing a nasty temper and been eyeing this since then...and now I got it...lup you dearest..:D

Took this 2 weeks ago at the entrance of the Esplanade with its unique Christmas trees...(by the way...I was there last night for the countdown...hehe)

Saw the Singapore Flyer when we were driving home from there...its beautiful when its lit up...will definitely try it out when it opens...:)

Next, Christmas gathering with KAF and MNW...our theme was Green & White affair and guess what....KAF didn't dress in theme again...*kua kua kua* But of course she's forgiven as she has really good valid reason for not joining us...its ok KAF...I sincerely hope in 2008 Christmas, everything will go smoothly as we have planned....:)

And so met up with MNW at Bugis...didn't want to do any shopping as the mall is crowded with lots of people, thus we went for a light bite at TCC...

Then as we have some time to spare before dinner....I went for a manicure....its very Christmas-sy! *bleah*

Then proceed to Indulgz for our dinner....very nice ambience...so romantic can! People must have thought Wen and I are lesbian....haha

Missing out KAF, we began our feast...

Losqter Bisque with Crabmeat...a bit salty and I feel its not as good as the one that dearest bought me to eat at East Coast...Big Fish's still the best! *slurps*

The baked rice is superb! And the chicken is tender....*loves*

The Earl Grey Panna Cotta...it is YUMMY! Melts the moment you put in your mouth...

After which, we proceeded to KAF's house so as to have our gift exchange as whats the point of exchanging if its after Christmas right?

Then on Christmas eve, went dinner with Brion and Garreth's mom & dad...

Christmas Day, we went lights galore at Orchard...its my 1st time (and his) walking on the roads of Orchard...:D

Still...he is sooo cute can? I mean not all kids are cute ok...-_-

Last but not least....FTL finally make it to our date....invited Dai Jie to join us....for a spree and chill out session at the Balcony...

FTL & I finally exchanged our pressies after I proclaimed I want to exchange it before 2008!

Cheers to the new year and our last semester to graduation!

Dai Jie wants a good husband in 2008...oops! wahahahaha:P

FTL is happy because I especially wrapped up her gift instead of putting in ready made boxes...haha

I heart her gift too! All the way air flown from Japan.....weeeee~

Now you know why I am fatter these days...all because of the evil nice tasting delicious food!!!!!!!

Glad FTl likes her gift....hehe So lucky that we have the same taste for fashion....:)
